Hello, you're probably here because I sent you a link, and it had something to do with jamming.
I'm from Madison, WI., and have been playing guitar for a very long time. I have played in bands, but I have been out of any scene for a while.
I'm a versatile player, with a good grasp on theory. Have played classical and jazz, but I most like to rock out. My song samples on this site are made for my "singing" style. It's not neccessarily the songs or sound I want to play, just what I do by myself. But that is still really evolving and constantly changing. Some of my new stuff is a little more alt-country-pop-roots, folky......
I would put some stuff up that is more my rock guitar style, but I can't sing to it. In the right project I could be more of a guitarist, and let someone with a good voice sing.

What am looking to do with music?
I really want to put a good project together, and have it be fun. I'm open to most styles, but it must be fun, and with good musicians. What are my influences? Well I listen to a lot of "indie" type bands, I like heavier punkish stuff and mellow chick songwriter stuff, alt-country, whatever.
How serious do I want it to be? Well, I would like to play out and put product together. That's for sure. I guess that's as serious as anything. Not sure about going on tour, but if the band became that good that it had to go on tour, well that would be a great dilemma.
